101 Things about me... **WARNING** It's a long post!
1. I was born in Fairfield, NSW, Australia. After 24 years, I’m living back here again. 2. I share my life with the best, caring, loving man in the universe. 3. Although I do believe in some type of God, I don't believe in ANY type of religion (and no, I don't need you to save me). 4. I would rather have one good "true" friend than a hundred acquaintances. 5. Even though I’ve had both my nose and tongue pierced, the thought of getting my belly button done, sends shivers down my spine. 6. Through out my 12 years of driving I haven’t copped one fine yet. And I’m no granny driver either (hmmm maybe just lucky). 7. I have 3 beautiful children, 1 boy and 2 girls. We're trying for # 4 now. 8. I’m a type #2 & #4. 9. I love color. Purple is my favorite, but I love all bright jewel tone colours. 10. I always assume people have the best of intentions. 11. I believe there is good in everyone. Sometimes it's impossible to find it though. 12.I have a tendency to ignore things I don't want to deal with, hoping they'll go away. 13. I know the exact dates all my children were conceived on. 14.I've been told by family and friends that i've been known to sleep with my eyes half open ( ewww... creepy eh?). 15.I hate dust, but I hate cleaning dust more. 16.I prefer Oportos over any other fast food or take out 17.I don’t like things between my toes. 18.I hate cleaning my house; I’m a horrible house cleaner and think everyone should have maids. I don’t mind doing dishes, but everything else …Uuugh! 19.When I was a little girl, I chose names for the daughters I was yet to have. And I was sure I’d have twins or triplets. The names were all to do with gems; Amber, Amethyst, Jade, Gemma, Ruby, Garnet, Crystal. Since then I’ve had 2 daughters, no not twins, but they are less then a year apart. And I named them Darcy & Tilly (aka Matilda). 20.I once owned 2 Dwarf Lop Eared Rabbits ; they were the only 2 girls in a litter of 7. I named them Opal & Onyx. 21.Through out my life i've had four dogs, 3 cats, 4 budgies, 4 mice, a handful of fish, 1 pig, a sheep and 2 rabbits.... mind you, not all at the same time. 22.I have never allowed my son to play with guns or tanks, war is not a game! 23.I’m much better at spending money then making it. 24.During my primary school years, I used to have pet mice, called: Alf, Gonzo, Smurf, & Obleo 25.I've never gotten to know my bio-logical mother. 26.In 1995 i had my name legally changed by deed poll, only to find out 4 years ago (2004) that when Births Deaths & Marriages took over name changes from Deed Poll, they never transferred my name change to their files. So for 9years i had 2 surnames, and the last 2 years i've had 3 surnames while trying to fix up the paper trail. (Maiden name, legally changed name & married name). 27.I never got to have a big party for my 18th or 21st. 28. When I was little I was afraid of the dark. 29.Well actually I’m still afraid of the dark! 30.< - - - Is how old I am now. 31.I don’t mind saying “I’m Sorry” if I feel I’m at fault. 32.I’d say I’m a perfectionist, but I’m faaaaar, far, far from being perfect. 33.My favourite breakfast meal would is Eggs Benedict along served on mixed lettuce with marinated mushrooms and a thin layer of melted cheese. Mmmmm... I've been lucky to have my hubby cook this almost each weekend for us. 34.When I was 6 years old my parents took me on a trip around the world. We went to Germany, Scotland, England, Singapore, & Hong Kong. 35.I lived with my parents on Bougainville Island (Papua New Guinea) from the age of 2-7yrs old. 36. I'm currently very interested in starting web design & photography (....stay tuned). Astraphobia - Fear of thunder and lightning Lygophobia- Fear of darkness Thalassophobia - Fear of the sea. 38.I am a pack rack. 39.I am seriously trying to break that habit – Garage Sale anyone? 40.I prefer that the toilet paper hangs from over the top of the roll instead of hanging from behind. 41.I had Gestational Diabetes twice. 42.I had a 3 hour labour with my son, a 32 hour labour with my 1st daughter, and a 2 hour labour with my 2nd daughter. 43.I got married in a black and red outfit, I'm definitely not the traditional bride. 44. I don’t sunburn easily. 45.I sing all the time. 46.But no one, except for my kids will hear me. 47. This is because when I was younger, (I think before I became a teen) my mother once told me I was tone deaf, ever since then I’ve had a complex over it . 48. Matt and I chose the song “I’ll fly with you ~ Gigi D'Agostino” to get married to, but they couldn’t find the song when I was walking down towards the celebrant, so instead our wedding song became “Bittersweet Symphony ~ The Verve”. 49. Which since then has always been one of my son’s favourite song. 50.I love to cook, but not if it’s only for myself. 51.I love all music by Mozart. 52.Coming from a German background i can understand and read German, but i'm too embarrassed to speak or write it in fear i might say something the wrong way (think i'll have to bite the bullet when my Aunt & Uncle visit from Germany next month). 53. I hate being sneaked up on, and then being scared! 54. I love to draw/sketch, but with 3 kids, I rarely get the chance now. 55.I love things that squirt in my mouth. Erm.. I was referring to juicy grapes n’ stuff, but for all you out there with your minds in the gutter, thanks for playing! 56.I used to be scared to death of driving in the rain (because of a car accident I had in the rain when i was 19yrs old). 57.I grew up an only child, but i have many siblings. 58.I once had a rollerskating incident during my highschool years, that left me in hospital with no feeling in my legs for quite a few hours... one of the worst days of my life, as i thought i'd never walk again. 59.I drive a Toyota Tarago, which i love carting my family around in. 60.I am never without my cell phone. NEVER!. 61.My sleeping position is a: Yearner. 62.I’m not a conversationalist 1st thing when I wake up in the morning. 63.I can say I have two of the greatest parents in the world. 64.I hate being so far away from them. 65.I love 80’s music. 66.I can’t sleep without my body pillow. 67.There are three topics I refuse to discuss with anyone: 1) religion, 2)politics & 3)abortions 68.I really used to love playing Volleyball (with a passion), I’d still go and play if I had the time. 69.When I was younger I used to have a sticker and an eraser collection. I’ve now started a sticker collection for my son. 70.I am the kind of person that loves deeply and easily. I don’t dislike this about myself, but it has led to a lot of pain in my life. 71.I am a tidy freak- not a clean freak - there is a huge difference. 72.I have never stitches other than for having 3 of my wisdom teeth taken out. 73.I am an Aquarius and a horse. I guess they fit me pretty well. But I don’t put too much into astrology. Its fun but I certainly wouldn’t make any life decisions based on it. 74.When I have a drink, I like to either have Bourbon & Coke, or my all time favourites are Kahlua & Coke or a Midori & Milk. 75.I am a sympathy spewer, but most times I can handle my own children’s vomit (tmi?). 76.I love silky pyjamas and big goofy slippers. 77.I can’t stand to eat a fish I’ve caught. Actually i can't stand to eat anything i've witnessed to be alive before!! 78.I love the smell of jasmine, newly bought books or magazines, baby powder, rain after a hot day, coffee beans, & musk. 79.My favourite all time perfume would Byzance & Samsara. If you've never heard of them before, i suggest you sample them next time you're near a perfume dept! 80.I worry that I am not teaching my children enough and/or not showing them enough of the world. 81.I love sushi! 82.I am ready to move to a bigger house or atleast extend this one. It seems our house shrinks by the day! 83.I have always found the movie "Rocky Horror Show" a little disturbing. 84. I find clowns even more disturbing (Thanks to Stephen King's "It" ) 85.It breaks my heart when someone has trouble conceiving a child of their own when that is what they want more than anything else in the world. 86.I’ve moved 16 times through out my whole life. (Sheeesh). 87.My blood type is O Positive. 88.I used to donate blood and plasma regularly. 89. My fave music artists are: Bee Gees, Fleetwood Mac, Moby, Cafe Del Mar, Nancy Sinatra, Nick Skits, Darude, Fragma, Pink, Gigi D'Agostino, Enya, Santana, Outkast, Eurythmics, Divinyls, Gwen Stefani, and that’s only mentioning a few! 90.There are only two people in this world that I hate. They were once my flatmates, if they ever read this, they'd surely know who i mean!! 91.When I’m tickled I have no control over my body. It's been known to cause someone else a nosebleed!! 92.I have a re-occurring nightmare that is very hard to explain. 93. One of my ex’s (that I was still on good terms with) Hung himself a couple of weeks after I’d told him I’d gotten married. R.I.P Jase 94.I hate writing in cursive. 95.I absolutely despise telemarketers calling my home, and I’m in no way polite to them when I answer the phone or my door. I have just recently stuck a sign near my front door advising doorknockers to keep away! 96.I was suicidal on quite a few occasions as a teenager, though I doubt anyone knew. 97.I brought up my son as a single mother for the 1st 3years of his life. 98.Those years were the hardest of my life. 99.I will usually answer my phone any hour of the day or night. 100. My fave actors & actresses are: Morgan Freeman, Ben Stiller, Charlize Theron & Angelina Jolie. 101.
